Capturing the sounds of excellence is not easy and when you do hardly anyone will know. This recording was my first remote recording. I only charged the not for profit da Corneto a few hundred dollars but spent $7,000 in remote gear so I could do the job right. Using the Tascam DA78 I loaded up all 8 channels with microphones spread throughout the chorus, band and soloist areas. The Focusrite Red 4 was my mic pre and a Spirit Notepad by Soundcraft. No video because the digital camera age was just heating up. My JVC DV2000E was purchase soon after this recording.
